This newsletter will be distributed weekly based on the concept of “an easy weekend recap” of the happenings at Astar Network.

The leaderboard has finally been implemented in Yoki Origins. The method of adding Lore has been clarified, and there has been a surge in users aiming for the top of the leaderboard. Transactions have clearly increased, and as predicted, gas fees have become cheaper.

With about a month left until the end of Yoki Origins, we hope to keep up this excitement.

Now, let’s review this week’s news.

Yoki Origins Leaderboard Implementation

Overview

The leaderboard has been implemented in Yoki Origins. Along with this, the method of adding Lore and a system called “Blossom BOOST” have been announced. It has been announced that users holding a “Golden Fox” will have their points doubled with “Blossom BOOST.” “Blossom BOOST” is expected to include additional conditions over time, making it a crucial element for reaching the top of the leaderboard.

Opinion

The leaderboard has finally been implemented. This implementation has brought out gamification elements and has started to generate excitement. The “Golden Fox,” necessary for the important “Blossom BOOST” to reach the top of the leaderboard, has begun to be bought and sold on the secondary market, leading to crypto-like movements.

Investment in Astar Degens’ $HAHA

Overview

The “Astar Degens” vote for the “$HAHA Coin Investment” was approved with “10,000 dollars worth.” The vote was held from March 29 to April 6, and “Astar Degens” holders participated. About 70% of the total votes were in favor of “Invest 10k$ worth of HAHA.”

Opinion

Community investment in meme coins is an interesting initiative. Looking at the recent trading volume, a $10,000 buy pressure is quite significant and might re-energize $HAHA. It will be interesting to see how the investment in $HAHA unfolds.

PACKS Reveal

Overview

The “Pokémon Card RWA” PACKS that were sold recently have been revealed. The reveal was automatic, and buyers can check them on NFT marketplaces like Dew.

Opinion

I also made a purchase, but it seems I was unlucky this time… Personally, I think controlling the expected value before purchase and invigorating secondary sales afterwards are necessary to boost the RWA of trading cards. Regarding controlling expected value, it’s important to specifically indicate the value of the cards included compared to the purchase price to manage expectations and prevent disappointment after the reveal, which could lose the target audience as repeat customers. Also, users who purchased with tokens are likely more interested in selling them as NFTs in the secondary market than in receiving the trading cards, so invigorating the secondary market is necessary. Currently, there are less than 50 completed sales on Dew, which is an issue. However, I believe this project has great potential and will continue to support it as a user.

ZkStrike Mobile Release

Overview

“ZkStrike” developed by Neurolanche is now available on mobile. The app can be downloaded from iOS and Android. There is a chance to win $NEROX airdrops by playing.

Opinion

Neurolanche is one of the most vibrant projects within the Astar community. I admire their progress in game development and token issuance; it’s quite impressive.

That’s all for this week’s news.

Thank you for reading to the end.
